Campus Facilities and Physical Structure
TEVITOL campus consists 416.000 m² of outdoor area and 19.123 m² of indoor area. Outdoors, we have sports fields and an amphitheater.
Dormitories
As of the 2010-2011 academic year, we have six student dormitories on our campus. In each dormitory, there are 8 rooms that are shared by 4 or 5 students apiece, 4 bathrooms, study rooms, and duty teacher rooms. There are foreign or Turkish teachers serving as dormitory parents, who are responsible for the students in the dormitory between 10:00pm-8:00am. Dormitory parents provide assistance for many of the needs of the students each evening, and help them adapt to the academic and social life in campus.
- Educational Units
There are three different buildings in which students take their classes in 21 different classrooms. Most classrooms are designed for 15 students or fewer. Also, there are 2 physics, 2 chemistry, 2 biology, and 2 computer labs.
- Gym
There is a 33x23 m² gym that is suitable for tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, handball, and indoor soccer games and training. It has a capacity of 112 people.
- Science and Art Center
In this building we have the Levent & Burak Nizamoğlu Library, reading room, computer lab, the art room, 8 music rooms, 3 classrooms, 4 department offices, and the Ceremony Hall where all members of campus gather for large assemblies and events.
- Cafeteria
The cafeteria's capacity is 250 people. Each day, three meals and three snacks are served to students, teachers, and staff.
- Teacher Houses
Our school has 38 houses for teachers, 12 of which are located in students' dorms, because dorm parents live in large apartments on the bottom floor of the dormitories.
TEVİTÖL Levent & Burak Nizamoğlu Library
Our thriving library owns 18,000 books and has subscriptions to 32 publications and newspapers. Students can borrow books for 3 weeks, but magazines and some books are restricted to library use only. If a student needs a book for more than 3 weeks, the book should be registered at the end of 3 weeks with the librarian. Students are responsible for the books they borrow. Students who lose their books are expected to buy a new one or pay for the book they have lost. Our library has subscriptions to a variety of academic online databases, including EBSCO, which can be reached through the Library page in our school's İntranet.
The library serves the whole community: students, teachers, staff, and TEVİTOL’s other members can always use the library for free. The library’s rules include having respect for all other people there, as well as taking good care of communal property. Students who cause noise are removed from the library. If students cause serious problems in the library, they will lose their rights to use it. Food and beverages are not allowed in the library.
The library is open from 08:30 to 22:00 every day, all through the year.
The students are always encouraged to use the rich resources of our library.
Reading Room
Daily newspapers, weekly and monthly magazines, and other publications are located here. Library rules are applied in this area, too.
